Artist's Description

I painted this autumn scene on an 12" x 12" x 1.5" square canvas. This is an old oak tree on the pathway to the lake. The warm colors of autumn is delightful! In this autumn painting, there is a touch of cool blue from the lake and the sky for the balance!

Eileen Fong

Eileen Fong applies the basic discipline of Chinese painting to express her love of nature. She enjoys letting her spontaneous brushstrokes give expression to the images that sift freely through her thoughts. Previously a medical technologist, she has an avid interest in exploring and creating. Eileen artistic path has made more interesting by combining other media such as Acrylic and Encaustic Wax Painting using broad strokes of melted wax. As an active member of several artists group and Arts Councils in B.C., Eileen has shown her artwork in many solo and juried exhibitions in Canada, the U.S.A and Spain.
