I always admire peony with its large petals and beautiful colors. In this painting, I stive to depict the solftness of the petals and reflection of light on the flower.
Eileen Fong applies the basic discipline of Chinese painting to express her love of nature. She enjoys letting her spontaneous brushstrokes give expression to the images that sift freely through her thoughts. Previously a medical technologist, she has an avid interest in exploring and creating. Eileen artistic path has made more interesting by combining other media such as Acrylic and Encaustic Wax Painting using broad strokes of melted wax.
