The unique reddish color and curved branches always draw my admiration when spotted on the hillside of the forest of the west coast. It served as an interesting contrast to the other trees in the other evergreen which are usually tall and straight. This is a small square painting on a 10" x 10" x 1.5" canvas with sides painted ready to hang on wall.
Eileen Fong applies the basic discipline of Chinese painting to express her love of nature. She enjoys letting her spontaneous brushstrokes give expression to the images that sift freely through her thoughts. Previously a medical technologist, she has an avid interest in exploring and creating.
