This is a painting of a river in Alaska where we went rubber boat rafting. It was a gentle river with drift woods, green meadow, forest and the snow-capped mountains in the background. This is acrylic on watercolor paper, framed with white mat, glass and black frame. The completed measurement is 19" x 23".
Eileen Fong applies the basic discipline of Chinese painting to express her love of nature. She enjoys letting her spontaneous brushstrokes give expression to the images that sift freely through her thoughts. Previously a medical technologist, she has an avid interest in exploring and creating.
